An adjunct professor at Rutgers University, Steve teaches a part of the university's Master's Degree in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance. He uses his knowledge and experience in the industry to help his students understand the essentials of this discipline.
Steve is also a member of the Drug Information Association's training faculty and serves as an instructor for the DIA's Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance Certificate Program. In 2010, he was elected as the chairman of the DIA's Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance steering committee for North America.
Apart from being a dedicated teacher, Steve is also an international speaker on drug safety compliance and signal detection. In fact, the FDA, EMA, MHRA, Chinese SFDA, Health Canada, and DIA have invited him to participate at events in North America, Europe, China, India, and Japan.
